AxFlow makes Danish acquisition

AxFlow has acquired Pumpegruppen A/S, a Danish pump supplier to the chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries and for water treatment and basic industrial purposes.

Pumpegruppen is a full-service pump specialist representing manufacturers including Grundfos, Wilden, FTI and Speck. The firm is headquartered in Lyngby, 10 km north of Copenhagen, and has another base in Rønde in Jutland.
“The acquisition of Pumpegruppen is well-aligned with our group technique to expand the product and service providing in Denmark. Pumpegruppen has a strong customer base and a sound growth potential,” mentioned Søren Weihrauch, CEO of AxFlow A/S.
Under the management of CEO and former proprietor Erling Olsen, Pumpegruppen will continue to operate beneath its current identify whereas being part of the AxFlow Group.
